We aren’t preparing you for a UFC fight. We want you to get a great workout and at the same time learn proper technique to engage the proper muscles in your workout.

Every element of Fitness Yoga is validated from a fitness perspective. Anyone taking part in a Fitness Yoga class can expect to improve their strength and flexibility.

This comes in handy for virtually every movement- from grabbing the dish off the top shelf to spinning your niece around at the family party.
Even though it seems like these activities are about arm and shoulder strength, a strong core prevents other muscles from straining.
We all plan to stretch, do yoga or move more during the day, but can’t quite seem to get it done. And those nagging issues: sore shoulder, neck pain or a tight back, just won’t go away. A individualized stretch session may be just what you needed and is now available at RMT Fitness.
During a Quick Stretch session (about 20 minutes) or an Extended Stretch session (45 minutes to an hour) Nora can provide you with specific stretches and body movements to help improve flexibility, decrease tension and create more body awareness throughout your day.
Each session is tailored to your needs and goals, plan to spend a little extra time during your first session to determine what your body needs.
A variety of techniques including Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) which provides muscle lengthening and fascial release, will be used during your session. AIS provides effective, dynamic, facilitated stretching of major muscle groups, but more importantly, AIS provides functional and physiological restoration of superficial and deep fascial planes.
Nora Dwyer, LMT, has been a bodyworker for nearly 10 years and involved in the fitness and health industry for more than 20 years. She is a Level 2 certified Neurokinetic Therapy practitioner, certified small group TRX® instructor, Rocktape® Rock Doc and has attended a variety of advanced training programs to further her knowledge of functional movement.
